Oxford Brookes offers a very comprehensive range of courses and a variety of study
modes, you can be sure to find a course that suits you. There is a choice of English
language and Foundation programmes, Undergraduate Degrees (BA, BSc),
Postgraduate diplomas and certificates, Master’s degrees (MA, MBA, MRes, MSc, LLM)
and Research degrees (PhD or MPhil). Course subjects range from traditional academic
disciplines such as Mathematics, Psychology, Law and Biology, to more careerorientated
subjects such as Automotive Engineering, Architecture, International
Hospitality Management and Sports and Coaching Studies.
We also offer a range of British Council accredited English courses and academic
pathway programmes throughout the year and during the summer. Our international
summer school offers a range of programmes from 3 -10 weeks including general
English courses, IELTS preparation and pre-sessional academic programmes for entry
onto undergraduate and postgraduate courses and professional English courses in Law,
Business and Diplomacy.
The University has three campuses; each of them with residential accommodation,
playing fields, a library, computer rooms, Students' Union shops and catering facilities.
The Students’ Union (SU) has over 80 groups and societies, its own bars and shops and
regular club nights. Joining the SU is a great way to get involved and make a difference
to student life at Oxford Brookes.
International students are given priority in one of Oxford Brookes’ 9 halls of residence for
the first year; all rooms have access to the internet. There is a choice of catered or selfcatered
and en-suite rooms. Our international student’s advisory service provides
help on a range of issues for international students including immigration, employment,
cultural, financial and personal matters. The team organises an extensive welcome and
induction programme as well as numerous social events.
Oxford Brookes offers a range of scholarships to international students applying for
foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate study, scholarships are awarded on the
