Full scholarship and free accommodation in NEWI

For entry to our programmes in September 2008 through www.ukstudyadvice.com NEWI are offering scholarship packages to all successful applicants. This once in a lifetime opportunity for international classed students to study towards a University of Wales qualification, at a well-respected Welsh higher education institution, at an affordable price, is an opportunity not to be missed.
Applications for entry to NEWI on this scholarship scheme are expected to be extremely high, therefore we recommend that you apply early.

Undergraduate programmes: £5,850*
Includes first year tuition fees, free accommodation for 37 weeks (first academic year only) and free in-room internet connection for 37 weeks.

Postgraduate taught programmes: £6,950
Includes all tuition fees, free accommodation for 37 weeks and free in-room internet connection for 37 weeks.

MBA programme: £7,650
Includes all tuition fees, free accommodation for 37 weeks and free in-room internet connection for 37 weeks.

Postgraduate research programmes: £6,950*
Includes first year tuition fees, free accommodation for 37 weeks (first academic year only) and free in-room internet connection for 37 weeks.

* Please note that these programmes last longer than one academic year and in subsequent years students shall be entitled to frozen tuition fees but not entitled to free accommodation for 37 weeks or free in-room internet connection for 37 weeks.

Payment conditions

As scholarship places are limited this intake we are giving priority to those students who pay 100% of the fees as a deposit. We therefore strongly recommend that you pay 100% of the fees as a deposit. Please note: there are a limited number of scholarships available and we recommend that you satisfy the above conditions as quickly as possible. Confirmation of a successful scholarship award is only guaranteed on issuance of an Unconditional offer letter.

International students are also expected to pay the charges from their bank related to the transfer of monies. (Please confirm with your own bank what this charge will be).

If you are refused entry to the United Kingdom as a student we will refund your payment 100%. If you make a successful Student Visa application but you subsequently fail to enrol at NEWI, your deposit payment will not be refunded to you. Likewise, if you enrol at NEWI but subsequently wish to withdraw from studies, 50% of the total fees due for that academic year will be non-refundable.

Important: On all conditional and unconditional offer letters a £200 Accommodation Services Bond will be added to each of the above fees. This bond is 100% refundable (terms and conditions apply – see below).

£150 Accommodation Damages Bond: This bond is refundable as long as no damage is caused during a student's occupancy. If damage is caused by the student they will be informed of the cost of the damage and given the right to appeal. If the student's appeal is unsuccessful the costs incurred will be deducted from the bond. Any remaining bond amount will be refunded at the end of the occupancy period.

£50 Health & Safety Induction Bond: This bond is refundable following full attendance at one of the NEWI arranged health & Safety Induction sessions. A right to appeal is also available.
